December 4, former member of U.S. Congress George Joseph Hochbruecker led a delegation of former members of the House Armed Services Committee to SIIS and talked with President Yang Jiemian, Executive Director Zhao Gancheng of International Strategic Studies and Deputy Director Wu Chunsi of Foreign Policy Studies about American public’s concern about the “China threat” given China’s 60th National Day military parade and about national defense and peaceful foreign policy of China.
