December 4, Dr. Bernhard May, Secretary-Treasurer, German Group of the Trilateral Commission, visited SIIS and talked with Vice President Chen Dongxiao and Research Fellow Zhang Lu of Global Governance Studies about the history, current status, and major issues of the Trilateral Commission, and the agenda of the European group of the Trilateral Commission and so on. Dr. Bernhard May extended warm welcome to Chinese group to join the commission. The two sides also discussed future cooperation between the commission and SIIS.
