January 13, Prof. David Lampton, Director of the China Studies Program, and Prof. David Brown, the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University, accompanied by Zhou Qi of American Studies, China Academy of Social Sciences, visited SIIS and talked with President Yang Jiemian about potential issues in the Sino-U.S. relations in 2010. They also talked with Director Yu Xintian of the Academic Committee, Executive Director Yan Anlin and Deputy Director Shao Yuqun of Taiwan, Hong Kong & Macao Studies, and research fellows Zhang Zhexin and Tong Liqun about Sino-American relations and Cross-straits ties.
