December 9, a symposium on Transition of G20 Summit and Cooperation among Emerging Powers was convened in SIIS. Scholars of the Institute of World Economy, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Pudong Institute for the U.S. Economy, Fudan University, Shanghai International Studies University and SIIS attended the meeting, and conducted a constructive discussion on the latest progress, future trends of four major issues of G20 Seoul Summit, trends and influence of reference index, peer appraisal procedure, new issues of Cannes Summit and their effects, the approaches to enhance cooperation among China and other emerging powers and so on. SIIS President Yang Jiemian and Vice President Chen Dongxiao attended the meeting.
