June 29, International seminar on "Towards Global Challenges: Prospect of China-US Relations in the Next 30 Years " was jointly held by BIPP of Rice University （USA）, and SIIS. SIIS President Yang Jiemian delivered the opening remarks and Vice President Chen Dongxiao attended the seminar. Scholars from SIIS、CIIS、Shanghai Academy of  Social Science,Shanghai Jiaotong Univeristy and Institute of International Studies of Yunan University participated in the seminar.
