May 15, the delegation of former US congressmen visited SIIS. The delegation is led by former Republican Representative Robert Simmons. SIIS President Yang Jiemian and Vice President Chen Dongxiao met with the delegation, and exchanged the points of view with the American guests on the issues of China’s foreign policy, China-US relations and the prospects of new energy and among others. A few SIIS research fellows joined the meeting.
