May 31, the veteran Hong Kong film director, Mr. Stanley Tong visited SIIS and delivered a speech on his recent project in movie industry in Shanghai. He also shared with SIIS fellows how he grew to be a director together with his understanding of what Chinese cultural industry can do to shape the world. In the Q&A session, SIIS fellows had the opportunity to have a vis-à-vis talk with the well-known film director. Prior to the speech, SIIS President Yang Jiemian met with Director Stanley Tong.
