From December 18 through 25, President Yang Jiemian led a delegation to Taiwan at the invitation of the College of International Studies, Tamkang University. The SIIS delegation attended the academic workshop of “The 15th New World Structure and Cross-Strait Relations” that was co-organized by SIIS and Tamkang. During their stay in Taiwan, the delegation held discussions with Taiwan Mainland China Research Institute, Center for Security Studies, National Chengchi University, Foundation on Asia-Pacific Peace Studies and so forth respectively. The delegation also paid a visit to National Sun Yat-sen University and other colleges.
