October 7 through 19, SIIS Vice President Yang Jian leads SIIS Delegation to Turkey, Israel and Kenya. The SIIS Delegation visited Turkish Foreign Policy Institute (DPE), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, Israel-based Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) and The Harry S. Truman Institute for the Advancement of Peace of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and exchanged points of view with Turkish and Israeli counterparts on such issues as reconfiguration in Middle East and Israel relations with Arab world. During the visit in Kenya, the SIIS Delegation took participation in the International Symposium on “African Perspectives on Africa-China Relations & The Sustainable Development of FOCAC” sponsored by SIIS and Foreign Service Institute, Kenya. The SIIS Delegation also paid a visit to the Embassy of China in Turkey, Israel and Kenya.
