October 27-29, the 1st Meeting of the China-Africa Think Tanks Forum (CATTF) is held in Hangzhou and Jinhua, Zhejiang Province, China. The theme of the forum is “China-Africa Relations in the Second Decade of the New Century”. More than 300 hundred participants from Africa, China and other parts of the world represent the areas of think tank, university, government and business. Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS) is one of the organizers for the meeting. SIIS President Yang Jiemian and Prof. Li Weijian, Director of Institute for Foreign Policy Studies take participation in the meeting. SIIS President Yang Jiemian also delivers a speech on “Sino-African Cooperation & Think Tanks” for the opening ceremony.
