The fifth session of the Seventh National Council of China International Relations Association was held in Wuhan University on April 29th. The theme of the meeting was “Sixty-year of New China: Construction of China’s International Relations Theory”. Focusing on this theme, more than one hundred participants discussed the distribution of international powers and international order in the context of financial crisis, construction of Chinese school of international relations, Chinese traditional culture & China’s construction of IR theories. SIIS President Yang Jiemian, the Deputy Chairman of China International Relations Association, hosted the opening ceremony of this meeting and made a summary speech at the closing ceremony.
