Imam Bai Runsheng, President of Shanghai Islamic Association, member of standing committee of Shanghai CPPCC, visited SIIS and delivered a speech on current situation of Moslems in Shanghai and related issues of Shanghai Expo. Vice President Yang Jian presided over the meeting, the whole research fellows of SIIS and all graduates participated in it. After the lecture, President Bai talked with SIIS Vice President Yang Jian, Deputy Director Wu Jinan of Academic Committee, and Director Ma Ying of Center for Asian-Pacific Studies, Deputy Director Ye Qing of Institute for Global Governance Studies, and Director Wang Lei of Department of International Exchanges and Research Management, assistant researchers Cheng Baozhi and Zhang Jun about the 2010 Shanghai Expo and Islam.
