November 2, the International Symposium on “Regional Economic Outlook for Sub-Saharan Africa” is held in SIIS. SIIS Vice President Dr. Chen Dongxiao presides over the symposium. Ms. Antoinette Sayeh, Director of the African Department of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), delivers a speech for the opening ceremony. Delegates representing the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS), Pudong Academy of Development (PAD), East China Normal University (ECNU), Wen Hui Daily and SIIS take participation in the symposium. Prior to the symposium, SIIS Vice President meets with the IMF delegates.
