Karel Kovanda, Deputy Director-General responsible for the Common and Foreign Security Policy (CFSP), Mutilateral Relations with America, East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and EFTA in the European Commission"s DG External Relations visits SIIS. SIIS President Yang Jiemian meets with Amb. Karel Kovanda, and exchanges views on such issues as China-EU relations and the recent development of the world configuration. Prof. Wang Yi Wei, Executive Dean of Institute of International and Public Affairs, Director of China-EU Academic Network (CEAN), Prof. Ye Jiang, Director of Institute for Global Governance Studies, Dr. Zhang Yinghong, Director of Center for European Studies, Dr. Zhang Pei, Deputy Director of the Institute for Data Processing Studies, and Dr. Fang Xiao, Deputy Director of the Center for European Studies join the meeting.
