On April 12, SIIS President Yang Jiemian was invited to participate in an investiture ceremony, which was held as a part of Pakistan National Day reception in Beijing. The Pakistan Ambassador Masood Khan, on behalf of the President of Pakistan, conferred the award of Sitara-i-Quaid-i-Azam (Star Order of the Great Leader) on President Yang for his outstanding contributions to furthering Pakistan-China relations. The other awardee is Yuan Jianmin, Managing Director of Sinotrans & CSC Xinjiang Co., Ltd.
