September 3-14, the delegation of SIIS, headed by President Yang Jiemian, visited EU, Germany, and Austria. The delegation visited Fridrich-Ebert-Stiftung EU Office, branches of European Commission, European External Action Service (EEAS), European Institute for Asian Studies (EIAS), European Policy Center (EPC), Center for European Policy Studies (CEPS), German Institute for international and Security Affairs (SWP), Fridrich-Ebert-Stiftung, German Federal Foreign Office, Austrian Institute for European and Security Policy Studies (AIES), Austrian Institute for International Affairs (OIIP), Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Chinese Embassies to EU, Germany and Austria. The delegation also includes Prof. Yan Anlin, Director of Institute for Taiwan, Hongkong & Macao Studies, Prof. Wu Chunsi, Director of American Studies, Dr. Fang Xiao, Deputy Director of Department for Research management & International Exchanges, Dr. Liu Zongyi, Research Fellow of Institute for World Economy Studies, and Dr. Tong Liqun, Research Fellow of Centre for European Studies.
