January 4 through 7, SIIS President Yang Jiemian leads SIIS Delegation to visit Vietnam. The SIIS Delegation visited Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam（DAV）, Communist Part of Vietnam’s Commission for External Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, Department of External Relations In Ho Chi Minh City and exchanged points of view on such issues as the evolving architecture of the Asia-Pacific after recent East Asia Summit and strategic partnership between Vietnam and China. During the visit, the SIIS Delegation also paid a visit to the Embassy of China in Hanoi.
