August 31, SIIS, jointly with the think tank “Saferworld” , hosts the international conference on “Relation between China and Two Sudans”. SIIS Vice President Chen Dongxiao and Mr.Bernardo Mariani, China Programme Director of Saferworld, attend the meeting and deliver the opening remarks. In the conference, scholars from SIIS, Fudan University, IASZNU, Saferworld, South Sudan Council of Churches (SSCC), LSE，African Centre for Justice and Peace Studies (ACJPS) exchange their opinions on different issues including China’s role in two Sudan’s reconciliation, China’s investment in Sudan and international peacekeeping in Sudan.
