September 20, Dr. Michael Frendo, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Malta visits SIIS and gives a speech on "Developing Vibrant Partnership between China, Europe and Mediterranean: the role of Malta and its parliament”. SIIS President Yang Jiemian chairs the speech. Prof. Ye Jiang, Executive Director of the Institute for Global Governance Studies, Dr. Zhang Yinghong Director of the Center for European Studies, Dr. Zhang Haibing, Executive Director of the Institute for World Economy Studies, and some other research fellows and graduate students attend the event.
