August 23, SIIS President Yang Jiemian meets with the delegation from Indian Ministry of External Affairs, headed by Mr P.S Raghavan, Additional Secretary of Indian Ministry of External Affairs, and exchanges each others’ idea about the current situation in South Asia, foreign aid and other issues. Prof Zhao Gancheng, Director of the Center for South Asia Studies, Dr.Zhang Haibing, Director of the institute for World Economy Studies, Prof Cai Penghong, senior research fellow of the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies, Dr Wang Weihua and Dr Liu Zongyi, research fellows of the Center for South Asia Studies also attend the meeting.
