July 24, SIIS President Yang Jiemian meets with the delegation of Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs led by Mdm. Nguyen Thi Nguyet Nga, wife of the Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director of the Department of Multilateral Economic Cooperation of Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Prof. Ma Ying, senior research fellow of the Institute for International Strategic Studies, Prof. Zhang Haibing，Executive Director of the Institute for World Economy Studies, Dr. Zhang Zhexin, Director Assistant of the Institute for Taiwan Hong Kong & Macao Studies, and Dr. Zhou Shixin, research fellow of the Center for Asia-Pacific Studies also attend the meeting. The two sides exchange ideas on a variety of issues including the world economy outlook, prospect of WTO Doha Round negotiation, economic linkage between global market and Asia-Pacific region.
