September 12, SIIS President Yang Jiemian and SIIS Vice President Chen Dongxiao meet with Mr. Dennis Richardson, Secretary of Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for Australia, and exchange each other’s opinion on issues like Sino-Australia relations, Sino-US relations, Asia Pacific Security and Emerging States. Mr John Langtry, Assistant Secretary of North Asia Division of Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for Australia, and Ms Alice Cawte, Australian Consul General to Shanghai also participate in the meeting. Dr Long Jing, Deputy Director of the Department of Research Management& International Exchanges also attends the meeting.
