September 18, Headed by Mr Dang Ding Quy, the Delegation from Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam(DAV) visits SIIS. SIIS President Yang Jiemian meets the delegation. During the meeting, two side presidents give keynote speeches on the theme of “Regional Cooperation :More Opportunities and Challenges”. Then, experts from each side conduct a profound discussion on the issues related to the regional mechanism building, current international situation, developmental opportunities of the ASEAN nations. Prof Cai Penghong and Prof Ma Ying, senior research fellows of SIIS , Dr Zhang Zhexin and Dr Zhou Shixin, research fellows of the Center for Asian Pacific Studies also participate the meeting.
