The 2nd Video-Conference on Sino-Latin American Relationship co-organized by SIIS and CARI is held on December 6, 2012. Scholars from both sides exchange their viewpoints on implications of US Asia-Pacific policy on Sino-Latin American relationship, inter-regional economic cooperation between the Asia-Pacific and Latin America, and prospects of Sino-Latin American relations, etc. President Yang Jiemian attends the conference. Both sides express their willingness to continue and extend the bilateral institutional cooperation.
