February 26, SIIS President Yang Jiemian meets with Ambassador Chan Heng Chee, Ambassador-at-Large with the Singapore Foreign Ministry and Chairman of the Lee Kuan Yew Center for Innovative Cities in the Singapore University of Technologu and Design (SUTD), Former Singapore"s Ambassador to the United States and Singapore"s Permanent Representative to teh United Nations. Prof. Cai Penghong, senior fellow of the Center for American Studies, Dr. Long Jing, Deputy Director of the Department of Research Management and International Exchanges also participate in the meeting. The two sides share ideas on DPRK issue, ASEAN development, solution of territorial disputes in Southeast Asia. US foreign policy and some other issues.
