January 12-13, The Shanghai Institutes for International Studies and German Development Institute (DIE) cosponsored the International Conference on the "International Development Cooperation after 2015: Perspectives from the Europe and Emerging Economies". Mr Wu Hongbo, UN Undersecretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs attends the meeting and delivers the keynote speech. SIIS President Yang Jiemian delivers the opening remarks. SIIS Vice President Chen Dongxiao delivers the concluding remarks. During the two-day conference, experts from China, Germany, South Africa, India, Mexico, Brazil and United Nation have deep discussions on the international cooperation after 2015, the new international agreement on global goals, the role of emerging powers for the post-2015 cooperation, South-South cooperation and the post-MDG framework and some other issues.
