SIIS Holds the Conference on G20 at Five: “New Model of Major Power Relationship” and the G20

September 26-27, The Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, The Stanley Foundation (TSF) and Munk School of Global Affairs of University of Toronto co-hold the conference on G20 at Five: “New Model of Major Power Relationship” and the G20. SIIS President Chen Dongxiao, Mr. Keith Porter, President of the Stanley Foundation and Mr. Alan S Alexandroff, Director of Global Summitry Project of Munk School of Global Affairs of University of Toronto deliver the opening remarks. Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of the SIIS Academic Council, delivers a keynote speech on New Model of Major Power Relationship. The two-day conference invites scholars and officials from China, USA, Japan, Korea, Russia, Australia, Singapore, India, Indonesia. Experts and scholars have deep discussions on overview, new model of major power relations and the G20 evolution, macroeconomics and finance, trade and investment, the broader agenda and policy proposals for the G20 going forward.
