August 30, SIIS holds a video-conference (third round) with the Center for American Progress (CAP), China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF), and the School of International Studies of Peking University on the new type of major power relations between China and U.S. Prof. Yang Jiemian, Director of SIIS Academic Committee, chairs the meeting. Dr. Wu Chunsi, Executive Director of the Institute for International Strategic Studies, Dr. Shao Yuqun, Executive Director of the Center for American Studies, Prof. Cai Penghong, senior research fellow of the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies, Dr. Ye Yu, Assistant Director of the Institute for World Economy Studies also participate in the meeting.
