From June 25 to June 29, SIIS delegation led by Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of SIIS Academic Council, pays a visit to Bulgaria.
1. The delegation meets with Chinese Ambassador Wei Jinghua.
2. The delegation has a meeting with Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute and talks about the cooperation in the future.
3. The delegation has a dialogue with the Center for Strategic Studies, National Political Institute.
4. SIIS and the University of National and World Economy (UNWE), Bulgaria sign a Memorandum of cooperation.
5. Dr. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of SIIS Academic Council gives a lecture on Chinese foreign policy under President Xi to the students from the University of National and World Economy, Bulgaria.
6. Bulgarian Foreign Minister Kristian Vigenin meets with SIIS delegation.
7. The delegation visits the University of Plovdiv. Chairman Yang Jiemian delivers a lecture on Chinese foreign policy to the students on International relations.
8. The delegation meets with Mr. Arch. Ilko Nikolov, the Chairman of the City Council of Plovdiv, the second biggest city of Bulgaria.
