On October 22, Co-sponsored by CCIEE and UNDP, the 2^nd High Level Policy Forum on Global Governance is held in Beijing. As an academic partner, SIIS research fellows attend the forum. Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of the Council of SIIS Academic Affairs, delivers the opening remarks. Prof. Zhang Haibing, Executive Director of the Institute for World Economy Studies delivers a speech on “Emerging Powers and Global Governance”. Prior to the forum, Mr. Zen Peiyan, former Chinese Vice Premier, and Chairman of CCIEE, meets with the SIIS delegation. During the forum, on behalf of SIIS, Prof. Yang Jiemian signs MOU with Mr. Christophe Bahue, UNDP China Country Director.
