On January 28, SIIS held the conference of China’s Participation in Post-2015 UN Development Agenda. SIIS President CHEN Dongxiao and Deputy Generals-Director LA Yifan of MFA, China, delivered the opening remarks. Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of the Council of SIIS Academic Affairs made a keynote speech. Officials and scholars from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, National Health and Family Planning Commission etc. discussed guiding principles, important areas and approaches to the realization of the Post-2015 Development Agenda from China’s perspective. Representatives of UNDP and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation were in attendance as observer.
