On February 6, SIIS and the Exploration and Free Views co-sponsored the conference on “Energy Situation and China’s Strategic Choice”. SIIS President Chen Dongxiao attended the conference. Experts from Fudan University, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, East China Normal University, Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai Energy Association, and SIIS had an in-depth discussion on energy security, energy and geopolitics, oil prices, and some other issues.
