On June 27-28, the 4^th World Peace Forum organized by Tsinghua University was held in Beijing. The theme of this meeting was “Overcome Difficulties: Understanding, Consultation, and Reciprocity”. Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao attended the opening ceremony and delivered the keynote speech. Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi also made a speech at the forum. Prof. Yang Jiemian, chairman of council of SIIS academic affairs attended the forum and chaired the discussion panel: The Security Mechanism of Cooperation between Major Powers.
