On Oct. 28^th, the “Asian Countries and the Arctic Future” book launch was held at SIIS. Vice President Yang Jian chaired the launch. Mr. Geir Hønneland, Director and Research Professor of Fridtjof Nansen Institute(FNI), Mr. Øyvind Stokke, Consul General of Royal Norwegian Consulate General (Shanghai), Ms. Su Xiufang, Vice President of Current Affairs Press, and Ms. Iselin Stensdal, Research Fellow of FNI were invited to participated in the ceremony. After the book launch, the seminar ‘China and the Arctic” was held at SIIS.
