On Sept. 21^st_22^nd，Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS) and Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung(FES) Shanghai co-held the 12th Symposium on “Sino-EU Relations and the Taiwan Question”. Representatives from government departments, international think tanks, academic organizations attended the conference and shared their opinions. Mr. Chen Yuanfeng, Vice Minister of Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council were invited to give key note. President Chen Dongxiao, Ms. Catrina Schlager, Resident Director of FES Shanghai, Ms. Gudrun WACKER, Senior Associate of German Institute for International and Security Affairs, and Mr. Li Wenhui, Director of Shanghai Taiwan Affairs Office gave opening remarks. Prof. Yan Anlin, Director of the Institute for Taiwan, Hongkong and Macao Studies chaired the openning session.
