On Oct. 25^th，Shanghai Institutes for International Studies(SIIS), Institute for Urban and Environmental Studies Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Shanghai Coordination Center for World Cities Day, Shanghai Oriental Youth Society, Shanghai Association for International Relations jointly held a workshop on the Innovation and Practice of City Diplomacy.SIIS President Chen Dongxiao, Mr. Fan Yufei, Deputy Director General of Shanghai Foreign Affairs Office, Mr. Qing Boming, Secretary General of China International Friendship Cities Association (CIFCA) gave opening remarks. Dr. Yu Hongyuan, Directer of the Institute for Comparative Politics and Public Policy chaired the discussion. Representatives from government departments, international NGOs, academic organizations attended the workshop and shared their opinions.
