SIIS Held International Seminar on China-LAC Overall Cooperation

On Nov. 24th_25th，Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS) held a international seminar “China-LAC Overall Cooperation: Opportunities and Challenges”. President Chen Dongxiao gave opening remarks. Amb. Yin Hengmin, Special Representative of the Chinese Government on Latin American Affairs, Foreign Ministry, and Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of SIIS Academic Council gave keynotes.
Prof. Wu Hong ying, Director of the Institute of Latin America Studies (CICIR), Prof. Jiang Shixue, Deputy Director of the Institute of European Studies（CASS）, Prof. Luis Antonio Paulino, Director of Confucius Institute at UNESP, Amb. Fernando Reyes Matta, Director of CELC, Dr. Harold Trinkunas, Director of the Latin America Initiative at the Brookings Institution, Dr. Rolando Garcia Alonso, Senator of Foreign Affairs Committee (Mexico), and other 40 distinguished guests from international academic circle were invited to participate in the meeting.
