On Jan 26-27th, a workshop on “Partnership Building in Asia Pacific: Views from China and ASEAN Countries”was held at SIIS. Scholars from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and China had a discussion on the concept of partnership, the achievements and challenges in China-ASEAN partnership building, measures to improve China-ASEAN partnership, and Asia-Pacific security architecture and partnership building. Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of the Academic Committee, SIIS delivered a keynote speech at the workshop. President Chen Dongxiao gave a concluding remark.
