The three co-chair institutions of 2016 T20, the IWEP of CASS, SIIS and RDCY, jointly host the T20 China’s kickoff meeting in Beijing on 14-15^th, December 2015. Ambassador Wang Xiaolong (Chinese G20 Special Envoy), Madam Jin Nuo (Chairwoman of the University Council of Renmin University of China), Prof. Cai Fang (Vice President of CASS), Prof. Chen Dongxiao (President of SIIS), Mr. Guven Sak (Managing Director of TEPAV), Dennis Snower (President of Kiel Institute for the World Economy), Christina Pinna (Policy Adviser of UNDP in China) and Carl Dahlman (Head of Global Development Research at OECD’s Development Center) respectively made their keynote speeches. Around 400 representatives attended the meeting, including experts, political leaders, and policy practitioners from more than 20 countries’ think tanks, governments, embassies and international organizations. The theme of 2016 G20 in China’s presidency is “Toward an Innovative, Invigorated, Interconnected and Inclusive World Economy”. The attendees had active discussion on the theme and provided many proposals and suggestions.
