Workshop on IDA Priorities and the 2030 Development Agenda held by SIIS

On Jan. 29th 2016, SIIS and the World Bank Group (WBG) co-hosted the workshop on IDA Priorities and the 2030 Development Agenda. Mr. Yang Yingming, Deputy Director General, International Department for Economic and Financial Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ms. Lisa Finneran, Director of Development Finance, WBG gave opening and concluding remarks. Officials from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Development and Reform Committee, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Agriculture; and scholars from National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation (NCSC), International Poverty Reduction Center in China, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Peking University, Fudan University, China Agriculture University, Shanghai International Studies University, representatives for the New Development Bank and China Development Bank attended the workshop. The participants had a discussion on the background and issues of IDA Priorities and the 2030 Development Agenda, IDA and the Global Infrastructure Agenda, Climate Change, and South-South Cooperation etc.
