On March 3^rd, 2016, a workshop on the North Korean Nuclear Issue and Situation in the Korean Peninsular was co-hosted by the SIIS and Shanghai Association for International Strategic Studies (SAISS), with scholars and media professionals including Prof. Chen Dongxiao, President of SIIS in attendance. Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of SIIS Academic Council & President of SAISS, participated in the workshop as chairman. Scholars from Fudan University, Tongji University, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences etc. had a discussion on the North Korean nuclear issue from different perspectives.
