On April 26, 2016, SIIS and Shanghai Association of International Strategic Studies co-sponsored a workshop on the U.S. General Election and China-U.S. Relations. Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of SIIS Academic Committee & President of Shanghai Association of International Strategic Studies chaired the workshop and delivered concluding remarks. Scholars from Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Shanghai International Studies University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, East China Normal University, and Shanghai University of International Business and Economics etc. joined the discussion. Media professionals including Global Times, Wenhui, China Business Network etc. also observed the meeting.
