On May 30, 2016, a delegation of Kabul News (Afghanistan) led by Mr. Jawed Kootwal, Chief Business Relations officer visited SIIS. The Kabul News team had an interview with Prof. Zhao Gancheng, senior fellow of the Institute for International Strategic Studies and Prof. Zhang Haibing, director of the Institute for World Economic Studies on the challenges and future of Sino-Afghanistan Relations, including economic and trade relations, the impact of “One Belt and One Road” Initiative on Afghanistan etc.
