Workshop on G20 Hangzhou Summit: Coordination of Priorities for China and France Held at SIIS

On June 2, 2016, SIIS co-hosted a workshop on G20 Hangzhou Summit: Coordination of Priorities for China and France with the Asia Centre (France). Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of SIIS Academic Council and Mr. JF Di Meglio, President of Asia Centre gave opening remarks. About 20 participants including officials from French Ministry of Finance, Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and French Consulate-General in Shanghai, scholars from Agricultural Research for Development (CIRAD, France), SIIS and Asia Centre had a discussion on the priorities for the G20 Hangzhou Summit, G20’s role in the implementation of UN 2030 Agenda, and how should China and France promote development cooperation.
