May 10-13, SIIS President Yang Jiemian leads a delegation to visit Iceland. The delegation meets with Minister for Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister, Political Advisor to Minster for Foreign Affairs, Chinese Ambassador to Iceland, and has open and deep dialogues with experts from Institute of International Affairs, Centre for Small States Studies, Centre for Arctic Policy Studies, Confucius Institute of the University of Iceland.
The delegation visits the Chinese Embassy in Iceland and meets with Ambassador Ma Jisheng
The delegation exchanges views with scholars from Institute of International Affairs, Centre for Small States Studies, Centre for Arctic Policy Studies, Confucius Institute of the University of Iceland
With the accompany of Chinese Ambassador Ma Jisheng, President Yang has a dialogue with Mr. Össur Skarphéðinsson, Minister for Foreign Affairs and External Trade. Afterwards, the delegation has a dialogue with officials from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Iceland
