SIIS Delegation Visits Finland

From July 1 to July 3, SIIS delegation led by Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of SIIS Academic Council, pays a visit to Finland. During the visit, SIIS delegation met Mr. Erkki Tuomioja, Finnish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ms. Lenita Toivakka, Finnish Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade and other officials from Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Besides, delegation also visited Chinese Embassy in Finland, the Finnish Institute of International Affairs and the Finnish Strategic Center for Science, Technology and Innovation.

SIIS delegation has an exchange with Ms. Kirsti Kauppi, Director General, Political Department, Ms. Erja Rotinen, Deputy Director General, Department for the Americas and Asia and Ms. Jaana Teckenberg, Director, Unit for Russia from Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
The delegation pays a visit to Chinese Embassy in Finland and meet with Chinese Ambassador Yu Qingtai.
SIIS delegation pays a visit to the Finnish Institute of International Affairs and has a discussion on hot issues and future cooperation.
SIIS delegation visits the Finnish Strategic Center for Science, Technology and Innovation, which is located in Espoo, Shanghai’s Sister City in Finland.
