The 7.8-magnitude earthquake centered on Wenchuan County, Sichuan Province, China, occurred on May 12, with which the whole nation is deeply concerned. So is SIIS. On the morning of May 13, the SIIS V. President Chen Dongxiao presided a directorial meeting mobilizing and arranging the donation to the people of disaster zone. The SIIS staff responded whole-heartedly as they were feeling what the victims did. They called for inheriting the spirit of “Wherever there is disaster on the earth, everybody will come to help”. They want to help the victims with the best they can, to win the counter-disaster campaign as early as possible. At the moment, the SIIS is busy in fundraising for the quake victims.
