On November 14th -- 16th, Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS) held the “Trilateral Commission Pacific Asia Group -- Shanghai Regional Meeting” at Okura Garden Hotel with Trilateral Commission Pacific Asia Working Group. President Yang Jiemian hosted the opening dinner and addressed a welcome speech. During the 2 days meeting, the experts had a dialogue on following topics: the Rise of China and Its Potential as a Partner in East Asia Community Building, Financial Crisis and Its Impact on East Asia Regional Economic Integration and the Growing Impact of a Dynamic East Asia on Global Governance.
