As a leading think tank, the SIIS held a seminar on “US 2008 General Election and Role of Think Tanks” on November 29-30. This seminar aims at convening young scholars at think tanks and universities throughout the country to discuss the role of think tanks in foreign policy making. Several senior scholars from China and US were invited to share their insights on the development of think tanks and their role in policy-making from different perspectives.
