March 26, Prof. Chihiro Kato, Doshisha University, former editorial member of Asahi Shimbun, visited SIIS and talked with Deputy Director Wu Jinan of Academic Committee about the future of the Hatoyama cabinet and the current conditions and the prospect of Sino-Japanese relations. Chihiro Kato was the chief of Asahi’s China Bureau and Asia Bureau, commentator at Asahi TV; he is a famous political analyst in Japan.
